The Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa is one of the most legendary hyper-sport motorcycles ever built. Introduced in 1999, it immediately broke records as the world's fastest production motorcycle, achieving top speeds between 188 and 194 mph (303–312 km/h). Named after the Japanese peregrine falcon—a bird famous for diving at over 200 mph to hunt blackbirds (a subtle jab at the rival Honda Super Blackbird)—the Hayabusa created an entire subculture of speed.
