The Aprilia V4 engines are the beating heart of the RSV4 and Tuono V4. They represent the pinnacle of motorcycle technology and one of the jewels in the crown of the Noale company, a true masterpiece of engineering that contributes significantly to the extraordinary performance of the bikes.

It is a 65° V4 engine, designed to guarantee exceptional power and a smooth, linear response to the throttle, both on the track and on the road, an engine built for speed lovers who crave the adrenaline of every twist of the throttle, which in this new iteration becomes compliant with E5+ homologation.

On the RSV4 this compact yet incredibly powerful engine has been meticulously designed to deliver unparalleled performance with 220 horsepower at 13,000 rpm. It becomes the most revolutionary and powerful engine that Aprilia has ever built on a stock bike, making the RSV4 the most powerful street-legal production superbike in the world. Benchmark power and torque delivered for maximum performance (maximum torque of 127 Nm at 10,800 rpm) make the Aprilia V4 machines explosively accelerated and highly responsive.

PUSH EVEN FURTHER

The catalytic converter has been repositioned to reduce heat emissions towards the rider and simplify fitting of the approved slip-on exhaust from the vast range of Aprilia accessories. These benchmark figures are the result of refinements to the exceptional V4 engine from Noale, now with new 52 mm throttle bodies with their advanced intake trumpets. This benchmark performance is backed up by a six-speed transmission perfectly tuned for precision and control.

Aprilia's Quick Shift technology also comes as standard, allowing for super-fast and seamless gear changes so riders can focus more on the track or conquer those twisty back roads
