The RSV4 project has never veered from its declared goal of being the absolute best, the fastest and most uncompromising superbike - a machine that's as close as possible to Aprilia Racing bikes in terms of performance and efficiency. The RSV4 1100 Factory is a premium superbike at the top of its category, aimed at the most demanding customers who want the very best in performance and advanced technical features.

Superlative performance

Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory boasts exceptional performance thanks to its racing frame and a series of first-rate electronic controls combined with Öhlins semi-active suspension. The colour combinations emphasise the exclusive nature of prestigious materials such as carbon (utilised on the front mudguard, the side panels, the exhaust terminal guard, the aerodynamic appendages, and the new front tank cover), in contrast with the titanium finish of the road-legal Akrapovič exhaust tailpipe, which the same colour as the forged aluminium wheels.

The evolution

Equipped with an 1100cc engine, the RSV4 1100 Factory sets the benchmark in its category and produces power of up to 217 hp and 122 Nm torque. The distinctive new “Atomico Racer” colouring and superstructure graphics in striking matt total black create the perfect context for highlighting the sculptural beauty of the aluminium dual beam chassis. For the first time, Aprilia introduces as standard on a superbike, aerodynamic winglets on the fairing, a derivation of those developed by Aprilia Racing for the RS-GP prototype.

Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension

The Öhlins fork, rear shock absorber and steering damper with Smart EC 2.0 electronic system and OBTi interface offer a choice of semi-active and manual modes, each with three settings, two of which are designed specifically for the track (with adjustments for the circuit and tyres) and one for use on the road. All settings are adjustable.

APRC - Aprilia Performance Ride Control

The RSV4 and Tuono V4 both come with APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control), an electronic control package that draws on WSBK Championship winning technology. The most comprehensive and advanced solution on the market, it is a dynamic suite of electronic systems containing unique auto-calibration and wheelie control functions consisting of: ATC (Aprilia Traction Control), AWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control), ALC (Aprilia Launch Control) and AQS (Aprilia Quick Shift). Starting with the RSV4 RR and RF, Tuono V4 1100 RR and Factory, AWC has been recalibrated to deliver maximum performance at level 1, the option with greatest freedom.
