Born from racing
RS 50 is still the point of reference for sport bikes dedicated to younger riders. Why? Because it’s a sublime blend of technical content and style that delivers the best performance on the road and track. Born out of racing, with an aggressive, dynamic character, light weight and unmistakable style, RS 50 highlights Aprilia's passion for sport with a collection of technological refinements worthy of a true superbike. With the ergonomics you'd expect to find on a superbike, an aluminium frame, a generous engine and the best components and technical features in a package that is now even closer to the RSV4, the RS 50 leaves no doubt about what it’s about.
Unique ergonomics and a benchmark chassis
The ergonomics of the Aprilia RS 50 are unmistakably designed for the track. No other 50 can convey a racing character like the eighth-litre from Noale. The riding position of the RS 50 is unique: the handlebars, forward-mounted and lower than the steering yoke, combine with the set-back foot pegs, and purposeful shape of the saddle-to-fuel tank assembly to ensure a true super sport riding position without compromise.
Thrilling performance
The beating heart of the Aprilia RS 50 is a modern two-stroke, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine: a motor that is reliable on the road and powerful on the track. Its ultra-modern design means that it’s lightweight and compact, which has in turn allowed development of a refined chassis. Its power, optimally calibrated, guarantees responsiveness even at low revs. Euro 4 approved, it also delivers environmentally friendly performance.
No compromises
The Aprilia RS 50's new look takes its inspiration from the shapes and colours of its multiple title winning big brother - the RSV4 that contests superbike races all over the world. Simply put, that means an aggressive and original style that culminates in the triple headlight, a trademark of the winning RSV4. The sleek fairing enhances the exclusive aluminium frame, an entirely racing-inspired refinement that no competitor can claim. The latest version of the Aprilia RS 50 also boasts the largest storage compartment in its segment, a space that can hold a 6” tablet.
